Rule 7
Examination and Dismissal of Complaints

(1) After a complaint is filed, the Tribunal shall inquire into the following matters in connection with it:-
(a) The basis of the claim taken for recovery of debt is clear, no,
(b) whether the evidence and documents attached with the complaint are sufficient to substantiate the claim,
(2) Upon investigation according to sub-rule (1), if the basis of the claim mentioned in the complaint petition is not clear and the claim cannot be sustained, the tribunal may dismiss the complaint petition.
(3) If it is seen that the claim cannot be confirmed from the evidence and documents attached to the complaint, the tribunal may order the relevant bank or financial institution to submit additional necessary evidence and documents within seven days. If the relevant bank or financial institution fails to submit additional necessary evidence and documents within the specified period, or if it finds that the claim cannot be confirmed from the submitted documents, the tribunal may dismiss such complaint.
(4) If the tribunal dismisses the complaint in accordance with sub-rule (2) or (3), the relevant bank or financial institution shall be informed within seven days from the date of dismissal of the complaint.
